A guest bedroom home office is the perfect way to maximize the room’s utility with a dual purpose.
This home office interior design was a part of the project we conducted for an avid reader. His extensive book collection required additional display space with plenty of shelving and a comfortable reading chair. Since the client’s job turned remote, the need for a dedicated workspace has grown accordingly.
The existing guest bedroom was located on the second floor of the client’s home, so the idea came up naturally. A space that was dwelling empty most of the time became a functional and attractive guest bedroom home office with a built-in library.
The large window was letting in plenty of natural light, making the room bright, airy, and productivity-friendly, so we used it to our advantage. We also incorporated an elegant desk and custom-built cabinets to provide plenty of storage for the client’s office supplies. The expansive workstation provided plenty of room to spread out, still leaving sufficient space for a comfortable sofa bed and a coffee table for occasional overnight guests.
